TEHRAN, Aug 8 (KUNA) -- Iran updated on Saturday its casualty toll of the coronavirus victims during past 24 hours saying 2,125 tested positive for the germ infection.
The Iranian Health Ministry Spokesperson, Dr. Seema Sadat Lari, said in a statement caseload of the contaminations swelled to 324,692.
She also reported 132 new deaths due to the pathogen infection, during the same period, raising the death toll to 18,264.
Caseload of recoveries stood at 282,122. (end)
