ADEN, Aug 7 (KUNA) - Yemen's coronavirus taskforce said Thursday that five people contracted the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) over the past 24 hours, taking the country's caseload to 1,768.
The new cases have been reported from the central governorate of Shabwa and the eastern Hadhramaut governorate, the taskforce said in a press release.
Four patients have recovered, raising the overall recoveries to 898, it said, noting that Yemen's death toll from the pandemic stands at 508 (end)
