KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 6 (KUNA) -- Singapore declared on Thursday recording 301 new coronavirus infection cases in past hours raising tally to 54,555.
The ministry of health said in a statement there were no new deaths thus the death toll remained at 27.
Most of the new infections were of foreign workers living in shared apartments. Four of the cases were of arrivals from abroad. They were quarantined.
It also reported that whole count of recoveries amounted to 47,768. (end)
