S. Korea adds 23 new virus cases, total at 14,389

TOKYO, Aug 3 (KUNA) -- South Korea identified 23 additional new coronavirus cases Monday, raising the country's total caseload to 14,389, according to Yonhap News Agency.
South Korea reported no additional deaths, with the death toll remaining at 301, the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said.
Of the newly added cases, 20 were from abroad, including 14 South Koreans.
The country's imported cases have recently risen due to infections among South Korean workers returning home from Iraq and Russian sailors, although locally transmitted cases have been showing clear signs of a slowdown. (end) mk.sd
