Jordan registers 3 imported COVID-19 infections, total 1,209

AMMAN, July 17 (KUNA) -- Jordan reported Friday three imported COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of cases to 1,209 since the pandemic began.
Jordanian Premiership and Health Ministry said in a joint press conference that they were from abroad, adding that there were 2 recovery cases to a total of 1,021 cured.
According to the statement, the health authorities conducted about 8,000 tests in a day, with a total of about 500,000 tests since the start of the outbreak, which claimed 10 lives. (end) mjb.lr
