RABAT, July 14 (KUNA) -- Mauritanian authorities announced on Tuesday that cases' tally of coronavirus infection climbed to 5,518 after reporting 72 new cases in the past 24 hours.
Director of Mauritania's public health Sidi Ould Alzehav said in a press statement that no COVID-19 related deaths were registered, thus the total number of the virus victims stood at 149 since the start of the outbreak.
The director added that 163 patients did recover from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 2,664. (end)
