Covid-19 kills two, infects 471 in Bahrain

MANAMA, July 13 (KUNA) -- The Bahraini Ministry of Health on Monday confirmed two more deaths due to the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19), bringing the kingdom's death toll to 109 so far.
Some 471 more people also tested positive for the infectious respiratory illness, the ministry said in a twitter press statement.
The fresh virus infections in Bahrain include 274 expatriate workers, 190 cases of close contacts and seven coming from abroad, according to the statement.
In addition, 597 additional patients were cured of the deadly bug, taking the kingdom's overall count of recoveries to 28,425, it added. (end) hmd.mt
