KUWAIT, July 13 (KUNA) -- The US reported 59,017 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours and 428 deaths, according to Johns Hopkins University Monday, as the total cases nationwide topped 3.3 million.
The tally showed the total cases nationwide reached at least 3,304,942 and 135,205 reported deaths.
This comes as four states in the US have over 200,000 cases, while Florida on Sunday set a single day new coronavirus cases record reported by any state since the pandemic began as over 15,000 new cases were recorded.
The US ranks first globally with the highest number of coronavirus cases and deaths. (end)
