Italy confirms 7 COVID-19 deaths, 188 infections

آ آ ROME, July 11 (KUNA) -- The Italian Ministry of Health recorded on Saturday a new decline of single-day COVID-19 deaths and cases, reporting seven fatalities and 188 infections.
آ آ The ministry said in a statement that the death toll hit 34,945, with a total of 242,827 cases since the outbreak of the virus.
آ آ Active cases continued to decline to 13,303, of whom 67 are in intensive care, it said, adding that there were 306 new recoveries, bringing the total to 194,579. (end) آ آ mn.lr
