Saudi Arabia suffers 30 fatalities, 2,994 cases

RIYADH, July 11 (KUNA) -- The Saudi Ministry of Health on Saturday confirmed 30 additional deaths and 2,994 more cases of the novel Coronavirus, known as Covid-19.
The latest figures bring the kingdom's total number of fatalities and infections with the deadly virus to 2,181 and 229,480 respectively, the ministry said in a press statement.
A total of 2,370 more patients were cured of the respiratory illness over the over 24 hours, raising the overall count of recoveries to 165,396 since the outbreak of the virus in the kingdom, it added. (end) mdm.mt
