Covid-19 kills two, infects 597 in Bahrain

MANAMA, July 10 (KUNA) -- The Bahraini Ministry of Health on Saturday confirmed two additional fatalities due to the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19), bringing the kingdom's death toll to 103 so far.
Some 597 more people also tested positive for the infectious respiratory illness, the ministry said in a twitter press statement.
The fresh virus infections in Bahrain include 313 expatriate workers, 281 cases of close contacts and three coming from abroad, according to the statement.
In addition, 447 additional patients were cured of the deadly bug, taking the kingdom's overall count of recoveries to 26,520, it added. (end) hmd.mt
