KUWAIT, July 9 (KUNA) -- Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca, on Thursday, announced 18 new COVID-19 deaths and 1,024 infections during the last 24 hours.
The Turkish news agency (Anadolu) quoted the minister as saying that the total number of infections climbed to 209,962 and the deaths to 5,300.
He also noted that 190,390 people recovered from the virus in the country so far after recording 2,879 new cases during the past 24 hours. (end)
