Czech reports 119 new virus cases, Poland 277

VIENNA, July 8 (KUNA) -- Czech authorities announced Wednesday recording 119 new cases of coronavirus.
The Czech Ministry of Health said in a statement, that total number of registered cases reached 12,685 and 7,910 recoveries, as about 133 patients in hospitals in addition to total of 351 death tolls.
For their part, the Polish authorities announced 14 deaths and 277 new coronavirus cases.
The Polish Ministry of Health stated in a statement, that the total deaths reached 1,524 as the confirmed virus cases reached 36,689.
More than 1.400 million tests have been done to detect the virus so far, adding more that 24,000 people have recovered and 1,683 patients in hospitals, including 66 on ventilator, the Polish authorities added.
In the middle of last month, Poland re-opened borders with other European Union countries with the aim of refreshing the economy after its closure since mid-March to confront the virus. (end) mah.sam
