BAGHDAD, July 8 (KUNA) -- Iraqi Health Ministry reported Wednesday that 94 people died from COVID-19 and 2,741 others were infected in the past 24 hours.
In a statement, the ministry said that today recorded the highest number of coronavirus infections throughout the nation including the Kurdistan region which has registered 67,442 cases.
Moreover, the capital Baghdad witnessed the highest number of positive cases with 827 infections, while 37,879 people recovered from the virus.(end)
