Italy suffers 30 virus deaths, 137 infections

ROME, July 7 (KUNA) -- The Italian Ministry of Health reported Tuesday that 30 more people died from the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) and 137 others tested positive for it over the past 24 hours.
The figures have taken the death toll to 34,899 and the caseload to 241,956 since the outbreak of the pandemic in the country, according to the daily report of the ministry.
It added that 574 patients were discharged from hospital after their recovery, thus bringing the overall recoveries to 192,815. (end) mn.gb
