Iran: 200 new deaths with COVID-19

TEHRAN, July 7 (KUNA) -- Iranian Ministry of Health declared on Tuesday registering 200 new deaths due to infection with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) during past 24 hours.
Spokesperson of the ministry Dr. Sima Lari said in a statement, with the new deaths' report, total count of the mortalities caused by the deadly germ reached 11,931.
Lari said up to 2,637 new infection cases were recorded, bringing whole figure of contamination with the virus to 245,688.
Meanwhile, new records of recoveries show a count of 207 cases throughout the nation.
Iran on Monday declared 160 deaths with the virus in addition to 2,613 infections. (end) mw.rk
