US records almost 45,000 new coronavirus cases, deaths exceed 130,000

KUWAIT, July 7 (KUNA) -- The US recorded almost 45,000 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours whereas the nation's coronavirus deaths exceeded 130,000, said Johns Hopkins University.
The tally showed 44,953 new coronavirus cases were recorded nationwide and 325 deaths, bringing the nation's total of coronavirus cases to 2,936,077 and 130,285 deaths.
Meanwhile, Arizona has become the eighth state in the US with over 100,000 coronavirus cases as 32 states are witnessing an increase in cases and hospitalizations across the nation are rising in several states. (end) si.gta
