S. Korea reports 44 new cases of coronavirus, total at 13,181

TOKYO, July 7 (KUNA) -- South Korea on Tuesday confirmed 44 new cases of the coronavirus, raising the country's total caseload to 13,181, said Yonhap News Agency.
The death toll increased by one to 285, the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said.
Of the new infections, 24 were from overseas, posting a double-digit number of imported cases for 12 consecutive days.
It also marks the first time in two weeks that the number of imported cases surpassed that of the local infections. (end) mk.nhq
