KUWAIT, July 6 (KUNA) -- The UAE on Monday confirmed 528 new coronavirus infections during the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 52,068.
The UAE news agency (WAM) quoted the government' spokesperson Dr. Amnah Al-Shamsi as saying in a statement that the total number of recoveries climbed to 40,721 after recording new 424 cases.
One person died due to the virus during the last hours, taking the death toll to 324, she added.
The spokeswoman pointed out that up to 11,023 patients are receiving medical care in the hospitals. (end)
