China reports 4 new cases of coronavirus

KUWAIT, July 6 (KUNA) -- The Chinese authorities announced, Monday, four new confirmed cases of the coronavirus (COVID-19), adding that no new deaths due to the infection were recorded during the past 24 hours.
According to the National Health Commission (NHC), this brings the total injuries on the Chinese mainland to 83,557 people, and the total death toll stands at 4,634, the Xinhua News Agency.
One case of "local" infection was recorded in the capital, Beijing, while no case was reported in Hubei Province, the epicenter of the virus, Xinhua added. Three "incoming" cases from abroad related to travelers coming from Inner Mongolia, Liaoning Province, and Shaanxi Province, bringing the total cases of infection from abroad to 1,934. Two people left the hospital during the past 24 hours after recovery, bringing the total number of people recovered since the virus appeared and spread until now, to 78,518 people, while 405 people are still receiving treatment, the agency added.
