Israeli army attacks targets in Gaza Strip

GAZA, July 5 (KUNA) -- The Israeli occupation forces launched artillery and air attacks on targets near Al-Shuja'iya district, to the east of Gaza City on Sunday night.
At least two shells and a missile from an Israeli drone hit in farmland in the area amid intensive sorties by Israeli warplanes, according to Palestine News and Information Agency (WAFA).
No reports of casualties were received so far.
Earlier tonight, the Israeli occupation authorities sounded the alarm sirens in the southern towns neighboring Gaza Strip, claiming that a missile fired from the Strip was intercepted by the Iron Dome air defense system. No Palestinian group claimed responsibility for the alleged missile attack. (end) wab.gb
