Bahrain reports two coronavirus deaths, 447 more infections

KUWAIT, July 5 (KUNA) -- Bahrainآ’s health ministry on Sunday said that two more people have died of coronavirus in the Gulf island nation, pushing the total number of fatalities to 97 with an additional 447 infections reported.
Of the 447 cases detected, 250 of them belong to foreign workers while 193 people contracted the virus through sustained physical contact, in addition to four imported cases, the ministry revealed in a statement.
Some 23,959 people have recovered from the coronavirus in the Gulf state, the statement added. (end) hmd.nam
