VIENNA, July 5 (KUNA) -- Austrian authorities on Sunday declared a single death due to infection with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in addition to 106 new contamination cases with the communicable disease.
The ministry said on its website that total number of deaths caused by the germ infection climbed to 706, in addition to a total of 18,186 infection cases since outbreak of the pandemic in the European nation.
It also reported a total of 647,000 medical examinations for the virus while up to 16,615 patients recovered from the virus ailment.
Austria has eased measures on wearing gloves and masks in public and re-opened restaurants and cafes. (end)
