TEHRAN, July 5 (KUNA) -- Iranian health authorities on Sunday declared 2,560 additional infection cases with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) raising total count of contaminations with the germ to 240,438.
Iranian Health Ministry Spokeswoman Dr. Sima Sadat said in a statement that there were 163 new deaths due to the virus contamination, raising the toll of mortalities with the contagious disease to 11,571.
She also revealed that the authorities counted up to 201,330 new recovery cases. (end)
