Arab lawmakers deplore Houthi drone attacks on Saudi Arabia

BEIRUT, July 4 (KUNA) -- Arab lawmakers on Saturday condemned a recent spate of drone and ballistic missile attacks carried out by Yemen's Iran-allied Houthi group targeting Saudi Arabia.
These attacks put the lives of innocent civilians as well as personal properties at great risk, read a statement by the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union, adding the attacks "seriously undermine" the sovereignty and security of all Arab states.
It urged the international community to take a "decisive stand" against any actions that contravene international law and threaten global peace and security.
The Saudi-led military coalition fighting the Houthi militia said a day earlier that it had destroyed a quartet of explosives-laden drones launched by the group towards the kingdom. (end) ayb.nam
