PACI to receive public next Sun., but with prior bookings

KUWAIT, July 1 (KUNA) -- The Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) announced Wednesday that it will welcome public at its premises as of next Sunday from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm.
The PACI, however, said it will be open for collection of new civil IDs till 05:00 pm.
Visitors will have to book an appointment at the PACI website, it stressed, noting that the booking will be available on Saturdays only and for a specific number to avoid crowdedness at PACI buildings.
This comes within the precautionary measures to confront the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) approved by responsible authorities in the second phase of the gradual return to normal life in the country, and to ensure abidance by social distancing rules, it concluded. (end) mrf.amh.sam
