TEHRAN, June 30 (KUNA) -- Iranian health authorities on Tuesday confirmed 147 additional fatalities and 2,457 more cases of the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19).
The fresh figures bring Iran's death toll and overall infections with the viral illness up to 10,817 and 227,662 respectively, the Iranian Health Ministry's Spokeswoman Sima Sadat said in a press statement.
In addition, a total of 188,758 patients have been cured of the globally spreading virus so far, the spokeswoman pointed out. (end)
