TEHRAN, June 6 (KUNA) - The Iranian health ministry said Saturday that 2,269 people tested positive for the virus during the last hours.
The Ministry's Media Centre Chief, Kianush Jahanpur affirmed that the total number of infections climbed to 169,425.
He pointed out that 75 new death cases were recorded, taking the death toll to 8,209, adding that the total number of recoveries amounted 132,038. (end)
