KHARTOUM, June 5 (KUNA) -- Sudan declared on Friday registering new 14 deaths and 151 infections with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
Sudanese Ministry of Health said in a statement overall count of persons infected with the virus reached 5,865 including a total of 347 deaths.
Meanwhile, number of patients who were pronounced as cured of the virus-caused ailment amounted to 1,924 with 99 new cases.
Administration of the capital Khartoum has decided to extend the total lockdown, in place since April 18, in a bid to weaken vigor of the contagion.(end)
