KUWAIT, June 5 (KUNA) - The United Arab Emirates, on Friday, confirmed 624 new coronavirus infections, taking the total number in the gulf state to 37,642.
The UAE news agency (WAM) quoted the ministry of health and prevention as saying in a statement that one person died due to the virus in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 274.
It pointed out that the total recoveries in the country climbed to 20,337 after 765 patients recovered from the disease.
The infections discovery came through conducting more than 44,000 new tests on different groups of citizens and residents, and using the best and latest medical examination techniques. (end)
