LONDON, June 4 (KUNA) -- The British Department of Health said on Thursday that the number of deaths from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) climbed to 39,904 with 176 new fatalities.
The department said in a statement that it had recorded 1,805 new infections in past 24 hours, raising the toll to 281,661, adding that it had conducted over over five million coronavirus tests nationwide. (end)
