ALGIERS, June 4 (KUNA) -- Algerian Ministry of Health said Thursday that eight persons died of the coronavirus while 98 people tested positive for the virus.
Dr. Jamal Forar, spokesman of the committee tasked with monitoring and following up the coronavirus, told a news conference total registered cases reached 9,831 and tally of deaths was 681.
He added that 79 people recovered from the virus to make their total 6,297. (end)
