Russia suffers 169 deaths due to coronavirus infection

MOSCOW, June 4 (KUNA) -- Russia suffered 169 deaths due to infection with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in past 24 hours, authorities declared.
Russian Emergency Center said in a statement total count of fatalities in the nation climbed to 5,384.
Moroever, 8,831 persons tested positive for the virus, raising the tally of contaminations with the germ to 441,108.
It added that 8,666 patients recovered in past 24 hours, putting the whole count of the recupertated patients at 204,623. (end) Russia ranks third among top nations that have borne brunt of the pandemic.
