CARIO, June 3 (KUNA) -- Egypt reported on Wednesday 36 new coronavirus fatalities, raising the death toll up to 1,088, the Ministry of Health announced.
Moreover, 1,079 people were diagnosed with the deadly disease in the past 24 hours, pushing the toll up to 28,615, the ministry's spokesman Khaled Megahed said in the daily coronavirus press update.
Megahed estimated the number of cured patients at 7,350. (end)
