KUWAIT, June 3 (KUNA) - The United Arab Emirates, on Wednesday, confirmed 571 new coronavirus infections, taking the total number in the gulf state to 36,359.
The UAE news agency (WAM) quoted the ministry of health and prevention as saying in a statement that one person died due to the virus in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 270.
It pointed out that the total recoveries in the country climbed to 19,153 after 427 patients recovered from the disease.
The infections discovery came through conducting more than 41,000 new tests on different groups of citizens and residents, and using the best and latest medical examination techniques. (end)
