Kuwait Prime Minister stresses gov't seriousness in dealing with human traffickers

KUWAIT, June 3 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Wednesday, stressed on the government' seriousness in dealing with the human traffickers.
"We are responsible for every human being on this land, therefore, what happened costed the country's institutions a lot and affected the country's demography," said Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled during his meeting with the local newspapers' chief editors.
The Prime Minister pointed out that 224 companies were referred to the General Prosecution based on information regarding violation of the laws and trading of labor workers.
Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled also expressed his pride in the people's cooperation, understanding and appreciation of the government's efforts in dealing with the coronavirus crisis. (Pickup previous) fn.nsh.aa
