KUWAIT, June 3 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah on Wednesday affirmed Kuwait's continuous efforts in solving the Gulf dispute.
During a meeting with local newspapers chief editors, His Highness the prime minister stressed His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah' keenness on the continuation of the Gulf joint cooperation.
The premier also reminded everyone that he was a foreign minister in the past, and he was close to the efforts exerted by His Highness the Amir to end the dispute.
"I am sure that all of the Gulf States see the path of the Gulf Cooperation Council states as important to them and to the region and the world," the prime minister added.
"Unfortunately, we are now in the fourth year of the Gulf dispute, but attempts are still continuing and hopes are greater than they were," said Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled. (Pickup previous) jy.nsh.aa
