Kuwaiti FM takes part at High-Level Donors' Conf. to support Yemen

KUWAIT, June 2 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah Tuesday headed Kuwait's delegation in the High-Level pledging online event to support the humanitarian situation in Yemen.
The meeting comes within the framework of supporting and international joint efforts towards alleviating the repercussions of the difficult humanitarian situation in Yemen.
The event was held with a joint invitation by each of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the supervision of the King Salman Center for Humanitarian Relief and Works and the UN Office for Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).
Sheikh Ahmad, during a delivered speech, reaffirmed Kuwait's continued support to the Yemeni people and for all efforts aimed at reaching a solution conducive to a lasting peace for the crisis in Yemen.
The Kuwaiti delegation included the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Arab World, Ambassador Fahad Al-Awadhi, and several officials. (end) amh.aa
