LONDON, June 1 (KUNA) -- The British Department of Health said on Monday that the number of deaths from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) climbed to 39,045 with 111 new fatalities.
The department said in a statement that it had recorded 1,570 new infection cases, in past 24 hours, raising the toll to 276,332, adding that it had conducted over 4.484 million coronavirus tests nationwide. (end)
