Jordan: Two new infections with coronavirus

AMMAN, May 29 (KUNA) -- Jordan reported on Friday recording two infections with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in past hours, putting tally of contaminations with the germ at 730.
A joint statement released by the premiership and the ministry of health said the infected couple were a non-Jordanian truck driver who was diagnosed at a border post and a citizen who came back from Russia.
Moreover, health authorities registered today 10 recovery cases, it said, adding that 3,300 tests for the virus were conducted raising the whole number of the medical examinations to 180,000.
Jordan has loosened constraints, warranted with the outbreak of the pandemic. (end) mjb.rk
