Spain reports 182 coronavirus cases, revises deaths

MADRID, May 28 (KUNA) -- Spain Thursday said 182 people people tested positive for the coronavirus in the past 24 hours, and noted that 38 people died of the virus in the past seven days.
The ministry of health said in a statement it revised tally of deaths on the basis of a new strategy it adopted on May 11, making total fatalities 27,119.
It said the numbers were revised constatly.
The ministry said total cases tested by the PCR since outbreak of the pandemic was 237,906, an increase of 1,137 cases since yesterday.
Spain began easing restrictions towards gradual restoration of normal life, allowing people to exercise outdoors and shop. The government also allowed coffee shops, shops, parks and libraries to reopen. (end) hnd.bs
