MUSCAT, May 28 (KUNA) -- Oman's Ministry of Health announced on Thursday registration of 636 new positive cases with Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the Sultanate, saying 345 of the new cases were Omanis and 291 others were foreigners.
With the new cases, total number of positive COVID-19 cases in the Sultanate climbed to 9,009, in addition to 40 death cases.
The ministry also pointed out that 2,177 people who were sick due to contamination with the communicable germ recovered. (end)
