Germany reports 353 Covid-19 infections, 62 deaths

BERLIN, May 28 (KUNA) -- German health authorities Thursday confirmed 353 additional infections and 62 fatalities due to the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) over the past 24 hours.
Thus, the number of cases and deaths in Germany has risen to 179,717 and 8,411 respectively, the country's Robert Koch Institute (RKI) said in a press statement.
The medical agency also confirmed the recovery of 400 more patients from the virus, raising the overall recoveries in the country to 163,200 since the outbreak of the Covid-19. (end) anj.mt
