Kuwait's Amir receives Eid greetings from leader of Iraq's Hikma bloc

KUWAIT, May 23 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir of Kuwait's Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received a phone call on Saturday from leader of Iraq's Hikma (wisdom) bloc Ammar Al-Hakim congratulating him on Eid Al-Fitr, slated for Sunday.
In his call, Al-Hakim expressed best wishes for His Highness the Amir and people of Kuwait.
He prayed to Almighty God to repeat this happy occasion for two sisterly countries and the whole Arab and Muslim worlds with abundant blessings. He also wished His Highness the Amir everlasting good health and wellbeing.
For his part, His Highness the Amir reciprocated the greeting and thanked Al-Hakim for his good gesture which embodied the deeply-rooted relations between the two sisterly countries. (end) tb.ibi
