Syria: COVID-19 cases increases to 29

AMMAN, April 14 (KUNA) -- The number of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Syria increased to 29 with four more cases reported Tuesday.
The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that five cases of recovery were announced by the authorities, while one death occurred as a result of the virus infection.
Syrian announced its first case of the coronavirus on March 22.
The government took a decision suspending schools and universities, preventing the use of public transportation, imposing a partial curfew, as well as closing the borders with Lebanon. (end) mjb.gta
