Boursa Kuwait stocks listing in market postponed

KUWAIT, April 13 (KUNA) -- Boursa Kuwait company announced on Monday postponing listing its stocks in the official stock market, tentatively scheduled on April 19, to another date to be set later.
It said in a statement the move was taken due to extraordinary circumstances resulting from the novel coronavirus, namely suspension of regular work hours at government departments The company indicated that setting a new dating for listing the shares would require approval of the Capital Market Authority, affirming that stakeholders would be informed about any development in this regard.
The company was established in April 2014 according to a decision by the CMA. Boursa Kuwait replaced Kuwait stock exchange, turning into the official bourse effective April 25, 2016. (end) mke.rk
