MADRID, April 10 (KUNA) -- Spain announced, Friday, 605 new deaths and 4,576 infections due to the dreaded coronavirus (COVID-19) in the last 24 hours.
The deaths and infections tally now hit 15,843 and 157,843 infections respectively.
Today's death tally is the lowest since March 24 when 950 deaths were reported.
Spain is entering its 27 day of national emergency without the ability to fully control or halt the spread of the virus.
Spanish television revealed that the government will possibly extend the state of emergency to 15 days, ending on April 26. (end)
