GENEVA, April 9 (KUNA) -- Swiss authorities declared on Thursday that number of people infected people with novel coronavirus (COVID-19) reached 23,574 and deaths resulting from the pandemic 756.
These figures are based on 178,500 medical tests, the ministry of health said in a statement, adding that proportion of confirmed cases stood at 15 percent.
These numbers affirm that there 275 cases among 100,000 citizens.
The authorities declared yesterday extending the lockdown until April 26. (end)
