Kuwait bourse benchmark bleeds more than 120 points upon week's closure

KUWAIT, April 9 (KUNA) -- Boursa Kuwait wrapped up weekly trades on Thursday with the benchmark dropping by 121.89 points settling at the level of 4,596.32 points.
Volume of traded shares amounted to 187.12 million, done in 15.167 spot deals. valued at KD 62.8 million (USD 213.52 million).
Main Market Index shed 20.89 points reaching 3,979.16 points, through stock volume of 34.34 million shares, in 1,719 spot transactions, at a value of KD 2.10 million (USD 7.14 million).
Premier Market Index lost 172.49 points, settling at 4,910.98 points, through 152.77 million stocks, done in 13,448 spot dealings at a value of KD 60.77 million (USD 206.61 million).
Meanwhile, the bourse Main 50 Index dropped 19.83 points to the level of 3,884.43 points ,through stock volume of 30.08 million, done in 1,374 deals, at a value of KD 1.9 million (USD 6.46 million). (end) mek.rk
