Pompeo, Egypt's Shoukry discuss cooperation on Covid-19

WASHINGTON, April 7 (KUNA) -- US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry discussed by phone on Tuesday bilateral and regional issues.
They emphasized the importance of cooperation during the Covid-19 pandemic, according to a statement by Spokesperson of the State Department Morgan Ortagus.
The Secretary thanked the Foreign Minister and EgyptAir for scheduling special flights to repatriate American citizens from Egypt and other countries hit by the pandemic, she added. (end) asj.gb
